  Q. Film curl

Asked by John Rusinko    (K=401) on 5/24/2005
How do I stop my film from curling? When I develop my B/W film I get a curl from edge to edge as it is hanging. How do I stop this from happening?

thanks,
John

be sure to hang a weighted clip from the bottom. Also, the faster it dries, the "curlier" it will get. So if you can slow down the drying time, it may help to stop the curling. If that doesnt work, then putting the cut negs in sleeves and allowing them to sit under a big book for a few days should do the trick.
