  Q. Negative cutters

Asked by John Rusinko    (K=401) on 2/9/2005
Does anyone know where I can get a negative cutter? I can use a pait of scissors, but something like what they have at the one-hour labs would be nice.

Slow, can't always see the division between frames if the negative has a thin image. I thought there might be a better way?

i found a few...

www.representatives. com/3d/film_cutter.htm
www.bhphotovideo. com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=20516&is=REG
www.adorama. com/KRIFC.html?searchinfo=film%20cutter&item_no=3

the one at adorama is the cheapest. sometimes if i have trouble with them, i'll use my light board with the scissors.

but give up on trying to post the rest of the links. search b&h and adorama for 'film cutter'. the one at adorama is the cheapest.

try checking on eBay. I purchased a very nice, lighted cutter for $20 including s&h.
