  Q. Liquid developers and freezing
John A Scott
Asked by John A Scott    (K=623) on 12/16/2008
Is it possible to freeze then use liquid film developer? I can never use up a bottle of developer before it goes bad. I was wondering if I can freeze it in amounts for one film at a time.

most likely not. The chemicals will probably become separated, and some may degenerate.

Try it with a small batch and see what happens (and keep in mind that different brands and products will behave differently).
