Q. Mamiya Soft Focus 180mm vs Imagon

Does anyone have experience with the new Mamiya 180 softfocus lens for the RZ? Is it similar to the Imagon? It appears to have many more elements and the discs are set between the glass instead of on the outside. Just wondering if the halo/sharpness effect are the same.
