Q. Battery for Kiev 88

Hi everybody,

I have found a 10 years old brand new Kiev 88 in my friends appartment. Although the camera itself is mechanical, the built-in expometer requires a special 5V battery element. I tried several stores in Toronto, and nobody carries it anymore. Does anybody know where to get one? Also, does anybody know what flashes can be used with that monster?

I have just found an adapter that allows attaching modern battery to this camera. This adapter allows to use G13, AG-13, L1154 and 357A for this camera. I have ordered it from Russia and will check it and post additional info.

Any flash that uses a PC connector on it can be used. It will only sync at 1/30 or below.
