I believe you have just asked one of the vaguest questions i'v ever encountered. You can classify photos in two general categories; snapshot and photograph. snapshot has insignificant subcategories such as "pose in front of mantel" or "vacation on beach". "real" photographs are subcategorized in a variety of things, most of which im sure you know. The main difference would be the fact that a snapshot has little or no effort/photographic talent put into it, whereas a "real" photograph was pre-planned, or taken for some other purpose than shear memorabalia. Many famous famous photographs do however, fall outside these guidelines, such as accidental arts. Developing mistakes have for many, provided them with some of their best photos. (granted, i'm being rather simplistic on my guidelines for snapshot and photo, but you must have some grasp on such things already so i doubt i need to elaborate extremely). Also, the same photograph may be considered incredible or horrible depending on the source, intentions, and a multitude of other things. So in short, it's nearly impossible to classify between a snapshot and "real" photograph. Assumptions can be made such as estimating the skill of the photographer, to determine whether or not the photo is worthy. I hope this has helped a little bit. :)
