  Q. Sea & Sea NX-100 Housing-need some help

Asked by Hank Van Agen    (K=25) on 10/3/2009
Was just given a Sea & Sea NX-100 housing w/dome port & extension ring, Nikon F100 camera w/28-105 lens and a pair of Ikelite Substrobes (200 & 100A) Twisted part of story 10 yrs ago I worked at the dive center that sold this unit and I trained the owner on how to use the set up underwater. Owner nolonger has need for the set up-lucky me but...I can't get the camera to fire the strobes. The strobe batteries hold a good charge, aiming lights work, capasitors(sp?) spool up. Pretty sure I have the camera sut up right-Had to download the F100 manual, but I need a copy of the Sea & Sea manual. Sea & Sea USA does not have one. They are contacting Japan to see if they have an english version laying in a drawer some where. I am tracking down a Nikonos V, sold mine year ago, to test the sync cords and strobes. any ideas?? want to use the set up for Great Lakes ship wrecks most likley in B&W-for better contrast. Set up to heavy for travel anymore. Hate to see an excellent sut up go to waste. this cost over 8K when new. Thanks, Hank
