  Q. Best film for polarizer

Asked by Zed Adam    (K=593) on 7/21/2005
Hi everyone,

Which color negative film is best to achieve the optimal effect of using a polarizer filter, mainly for landscapes. I'm planning to shoot some landscapes but can't decide which film to use. (buying and processing slide films are too expensive for me.)

Thank you for your time.

Zed.

My favorite was Fuji Superia 100. Not expensive and with excellent colors.

It hardly matters. High saturation film is best but most labs will ruin the effect anyway as their machines automatically "correct" colour ballance, exposure, etc. to some predetermined average of what they think a scene should look like.
