  Q. Nikon D40X inhaling particles
Autumn Jade
Asked by Autumn Jade    (K=629) on 8/11/2011
Hello all. I have been using a digital Nikon D40X for years, now. It is a lovely camera and I love everything about it- except the fact that it inhales particles. My worst problem is bits of sand and small crystals of salt. This creates spots and blemishes in the images.

I suppose all I can do about it is to continue cleaning the sensor and fixing photographs. If there are any tips on more effective cleaning methods (I use special swaps with cleaning fluid) or how to prevent the lens from inhaling as many particles, I would be very grateful.

Any tips relating to this matter are appreciated. Thank you very much.

Sincerely,

Autumn Jade
