  Q. Beginners Budget Flash Lighting Studio System

Asked by Nuno Silva    (K=335) on 3/17/2007
HI there, the time has come to buy a flash lighting kit but as with most of struggling wannabes photographers, my budget is quite restricted.
I am mainly looking for advice on which flash system to buy, one that will be mainly used at home and for portraits, some nudes and glamour also but the bulk of work will be portraits as i said previously.
I saw the Interfit EX150 Kit (5 stars in some magazines i read) and the Portaflash Series 3 Kit for the price i have at the moment.
Are they any good? I mean, i read a lot of reviews by people who used them but most are not convinced by them, i suppose they are for the budget i have at the moment but sould i just wait a few more months and try to save enough for the Elinchrom D-Lite or will i be able to use the ones above without problems, also and apart from the ones i said, are there any other kits i should look at?
Thank you very much for your help since, i am a bit undecided, i get mixed reviews regarding the Interfit and Portaflash Kits everywhere so a Photography Forum seems to be the best option to get my doubts away.
Thank you.

Hi there, Thank you, i had a look at the website and they do look the part but in terms of prices they do tend to be more or less the same as Elincrom and Bowens, also i am not sure they have any store here in the UK that sells them, do you know of any store who sells them hre?
Thank you.
