About Normally I like to shoot macro's with more DOF, but I was shooting handheld at ISO 200, so shots like this become a low % proposition. Does the shallow DOF work here?

I like it, the shallow DOF adds another dimension to the shot, and the colours are wonderful.

Excellent work Tim, I find this to be very pleasing. The distribution of focus area is perfect in my eyes, nicely split between the flower and bee. The green sets off the background nicely as well,
