About Just a second before I took this, the kid was trying to run into the surf and go in the other direction. You can't see it but the parent has a firm grasp of his little hand !.... :o)

I cropped it closer as Alastair was suggesting. I like this crop much better.

What a special photo full of life and laughter and the more seriuos adult that sees nothing- black and white, small and big, young and older- so many contrast to be found making this very suggestive and special.
Best wishes
Annemette

lol...i love this shot. its as if he has no regard for what this child has to say, just walking on by. and i love that smile. makes you want to be less of an old grump and just be a kid again. greeat photo lily

Oh... if you hadn't said anything about the hand clasping... I was going to say: what a cheeky little boy to walk past on the beach!

An infectious smile, this is a beautiful and uplifting scehe, Lily.

Definitely made me smile. :))
