About Middle School
This I confess is NOT my photo but is middle sons. He took my camera to school on the occasion of the last day of Middle School to take photos of his friends.
I was interested by this one as people photography is not one of my strenghts. In fact do I have ANY as a photographer. Better not to go there.
OK so how would you crop this image or otherwise manipulate to make a better photo.

keeping eyes open makes a better photo too. a tighter crop below the shoulders i think would be better here too.

I really like Ray's changes, and I'm glad he posted them because it was interesting to see what he did. I think that perhaps the faces are a bit too grey in his version, but I definitely see the merit in taking out the over red tint.

Gabrielle,
Just some suggested changes, crop to emphize faces, get rid of extream red cast by reducing red saturatin and then adjust contrast and color correction, much more could be done, but image, though intreging, has not to much to work with from a technical standpoint.
Reguards,
Ray W
