Hi Lori,
First, let me apologize for not visiting your photos and commenting on your wonderful work. A couple of others in my friends list I also have to get back to and comment on their postings as well. I picked this one to start with as the title drew me to it. The River Walk is a very pretty place and you have caught a piece of its beauty with this excellent shot. The reflections are gorgeous, especially the blue which is my favorite color.

Hi Lori, I agree, it's the reflection that adds the juice to this shot. Very intriguing to see how the reflection is, IMO, even more interesting than the actual scene. They blend in perfectly, though. I'm curious what cropping off a small strip on top of the image might affect the viewers' focus. I cropped it just above the umbrellas, removing most of the reference to the origin of the lines in the water.
Very good shot! I like those black and blue tones alot. Always go perfeclty together....

Hi Lori - hope you had a good trip ;-) At least i'm sure you got some good photos of which this is one. The blue line in the frame is a good idea as it matches the lines in the water very well (good idea). I've done this walk myself so i know how you felt. Best wishes and thenks for your comments.

Hi Jeff,
Funny you should ask that. For some reason, since the format, I had to download it once again. I just tried to use it today, and now I can't get the action to work. When I create other actions, they work, the ones included with PS work....just the 'pixel' one is being stubborn. I'm SURE it is some little thing I'm not doing correctly. I'll go back to the site and read it again.
