I've decided that B&W done well, with a digital camera, sometimes has a recognisably different feeling from silver halide film/print B&W. I'm floundering trying to put it into words, though. A kind of smoothness, pearly tones... something about the rendering of skin, too. You keep doing these, Kevin, and I may be able to identify it. I love these kids. So typically British. Forgive me if this is just repeating what's obvious to everybody else, but I'd hardly SEEN any digital B&W stuff before I came to Usefilm. (And because of the name, I didn't think I'd see any here, either. [g]
