Photoshopography in contrast to photography, that is. ;-) You are a great photoshopographer, Gustavo! Your retouch works show that explicitely.
Just take your steps and allow me to be pressing you to more! I know that you can do all that by your camera and lens. A guy that has such a perception power is able, always able, to approach much more than artificial enhancements. I am sure that you will evolve to a strong photographer - the state of photoshopography is just a step toward that.
So I wait patiently. And on the meanwhile I continue whining about that! ;-)

Efectivamente, efectivamente, efectivamente...
Stand in front of the subject, change angle of view, enhance its own character and perspective of sight, go hyperfocussing, take advantage of the available situation of lines ans curves as they wonderfully extend into space, shoot the image that you have in mind without the need of "afterward enhancement"... that is, honor the subject. Don't violate it by introducing things that it never represented, Gustavo. This is to me the quintessence of photography. It is "mathematical", all right, but tell me somebody that it is not pure!

Efectivamente, es que la foto la tomé pensando en la imagen que luego lograría con el PS, por eso no puse mucho cuidado al hacerla, es solo material para el trabajo posterior de creación y edición.

Thanks a lot for telling me, Gustavo! I didn't notice that the original was already attached.
Well...in this case it was the only choise to fake the image. The original has an exceptional lighting and exposire balance in a very good focus and DoF. But the composition was not at all good. You should have done what you did with PS, namely get it vertically, not horizontally. And also with a wider angle for enhancing the upward direction into the depth of the image. Exactly this is was your retouch brought. But it was not on the image, and thus... good photoshopography but not good photography. Think more about composition.

Very good artificial atmosphere that still manages to resemble the real, Gustavo. The lighting of the facade surely enhances the direction "upward" that takes the eye to the dramatic sky after so many arcitectural textures. The clouds enhance the overall atmosphere very well, but I don't really know about the formation at the top right. Why did you choose the rather solid looking appearance of that texture?
Anyway, good photoshopography. BTW, any chances to attach the original?

En "Blade Runner", Tannhäuser esta mencionado como un lugar casi abstracto en el espacio y tal vez en el tiempo (asumo que viste la película, si no, te la recomiendo con entusiasmo).
Suenan tan fascinantes esas visiones, esos recuerdos del androide al momento de su muerte: "naves de ataque en llamas sobre el hombro de Orion, rayos C-beams brillando en la oscuridad cerca del portal de Tannhäuser"... La formidable experiencia de batalla del androide tiene todo el dramatismo Wagneriano, aún así, se perderá silenciosamente en el tiempo. Cuantas visiones morirán con nosotros?...quien sabe...

sin duda un de las mejores películas que he visto nunca, la escena cuando Rutger Hauer esta muriendo y cayéndole el agua por la cara con esas palabras tan hermosa es conmovedora
Dicho esto, no es una de tus obras que más me gusta querido Gustavo, pero eso no quiere decir que sea mala, sino que tu mismo te has puesto un nivel muy alto

Una alternativa con un "Marte" mas pequeño en el cielo. Por tratarse de Marte pensé en un principio titularla: "Amanecer en Fobos", título que también me gusta, sin embargo pudo más la asociación con la genial película de culto de Ridley Scott.
Les cuento que esta imagen de la iglesia de Cármen de Patagones ya la exploré con otro sentido en "Ave" http://www.usefilm.com/image/1424454.html , la dejo para quien quiera comparar los trabajos.
