How happy I get to read your words, Shehzaad:-) It´s wonderful that you easily spot the difference in my photographs after getting the new one. Yes, some of the photos are a bit blurry. Like you mentioned a while back it seems like the optics are not topsharp and secondly I don´t always do a good job either. This night there was a lot of humid in the air covering the lens constantly.
Thanks for your advice! I´ll remember that:-)
Warm hugs
Annemette

Thank YOu , thank you , thank you for helping me out a lot ....I can understand what You've explained well ...You are a good teacher & I thank You for that a lot!!!!

It is as safe here at the beach as anywhere I would suppose, day or night, but especially night...this town is sooo small but still you've got to use your senses and realize how crazy people might think....
My mother worries when I go hiking and I tell her that it is safer to climb a mountain tha to drive a car, or walk the streets ....but still she has a point as You do as well....
We will do it one night dear I know we will .
Best wishes, and more thank YOU's !

PS. The spooky wierd pweople are too lazy to climb a mountain-lol!!!!!!!!

Yes, I simply start with the camera on the tripod estimating the light and setting the camera to a narrow aperture and the shutter slightly slower than "normal". Then I move down the aperture as the light slowly disappears which enables me to do these dreamy seascapes. Sometimes I let the aperture being more high/narrow to let in less light and then I use one or two seconds of exposure. It´s hard to explain it exactly, but I hope this helps, dear Michele:-)
I came to think that it might not be as safe by the sea at night as it is in Denmark. When I come sometimes we can go there at night shooting photos. It´s probably good being two also in matter of safety?
Take care!

Now this is also a dreamy seascape and I need to know if You use a slow shutter speed to get the sea to look as it does, as I did in (As the world Turns)))...cause sometimes I am not sure>>

This is wonderful and I would not change a thing my dear:))

It was so special because usually I can walk on the beach, but now the waves were rolling in and covering most of the coastline. I found this perspective to be rather peculiar. THank you dear Crow.
Sleep well this night so you can be fresh and jumpy tomorrow(hmm I made it sound like you are a salmon or some other fish)

Yes, certainly I used a tripod:-)The sun was setting at this time which is why I could get the water smooth like this by means of long shuttertime. Only thing done to is is a bit of contrast:-) Thanks dear Newfman J.

Surely you used your tripod (or some other means of support) here Viking, but still no ND filtration? I'm curious as to how you achieved such lovely softness in the tide from an extended daylight exposure. Beautifully created. -john
