Quite right James,the wind just before the storm was really strong and gave me the idea of setting a slow shutter speed to capture a movement blur of red and purple flowers.

Yes, Shirley's idea was helpful. Good thought to submerge the sky. The scene you have created is, of course, impossible--but that's ok. It looks good.
For me, what I like is the motion in the field (presumably from the wind which was blowing in the storm).

Using a tripod,slow speed of 1/10,and f16 it's virtually the same shot as a previous post-Before the storm.Taking Shirley's advice I boosted the colours of thistles and poppies and then darkened the sky some more-there was a tremendous storm a few moments later-and finally added some stars.It was a memorable evening of photography!Thanks for asking James.
