Pasa, this is a great shot. I suppose Kiarang is right, there could have been more detail in the background, but I think the dense black works to your advantage here. The golden light reminded me of the Oz stories and Dorothy following the yellow brick road, and without the background the eye naturally concentrates on the boy and the road he has to travel. I think this is very well done, and like Kiarang, I like that nimbus of light around the boy's head and shoulders.

Very good use of light, but a bit saturated of high contrast and levels used that disturb all of the textures in background. the light here has made a "mood" that's set very well with your great composition and useing diagonal line. look closer:
what a nice rim light over his shoulders and head.
