Taken at Coyote Hills, a hawk with her catch. ISO 320, 200mm 1/320 @ f/11 I realized I did not have a good shutter speed now that I reviewed the exif info. This was the day I was out with only the short zoom lens.
Hi Pat, Thanks for dropping by. Well this lens is certainly not for bird photography. For most general use it's a great lens, if you're used for the pro F2.8's then this will dissappoint you. This lens doubles up my current focal lengths, I think about getting rid of it, but it's just useful. I wasn't planning on taking shots of birds during this time that I captured this Hawk, he just happened to pass by and all I had was this and a macro lens.
Great, detailed capture. How to you like the 18-200 lens? I seriously considered this lens, but just plopped down the money for a digiscoping outfit (fieldscope and adapter).
