About This is in a trailer park down the road from where I live. They were more or less kicked out because they were causing property values to fall. So now new houses will be built on this site. This symbolic figure was left behind, as were other things. it was flooded too, It felt to very much like Katrina to me. The figure was actually laying on the ground, when I photographed it for some reason I just couldn't let it stay laying down. Standing it up felt more haunting. Thanks for looking.

Yep- I reckon Joseph fits too. St. Jo's was the name of the building I went to school in and worked for 20 years. Now it is closed, it looks and feels much like this statue! It is what looks like a hand missing that sticks. Be great to get some more of that place.

Wonderfully observed and beautifully presented. It puts me in mind of Noel Coward's keen observation: "Extraordinary how potent cheap music is." Nice job . . .

All the best,
--George

Your welcome, It is actually a Christmas ornament, that got left behind, I would tend to think it's Joseph.

Just wandering around the trailer park and just came across this. I might go back and wander some more.

Mark, this is just so sad and bad. (Where and why you got it I mean, not the pic!)It's a great image to think to do. Just having the textures and shadows around it- so poignant - just the eyes. And to see it damaged and left. Is it Jesus or a saint? (P.S replied to other message, just say thank-you incase I did it wrong!).
