Yes Jim, your remark is quite right. Normally at the end of PS passing I come back to level adjastement for touching the tails of white and black to set finally contrast and light. Here I fergot it and this is the result.

Beautiful detail and depth of field. This does look a little dark though. I think a curves adjustment or if adjusted perhaps a 1/3 stop greater exposure would lighten this just enough with out losing detail in the petals. Regardless this is very worthy of the attention it has received. Congratulations.

This IS so lovely and so beautifully cropped! The colour is magnificent and the play of the petals....WOW! Just like a flirting woman, letting something to be seen, but still covering up in layers of veils.The light gives a translucent quality to the petals. I really love this creation of yours, Giuseppe!
