Great job creating the dreamy feeling in this, Laurie - I like the muted tones and gentle shadows. That one little wavelet right in the middle is perfect! I kind of wish there were a little more detail in the white foam, though - just personal taste! :)

Yes, it is a brand new camera. I've had it for about 2 weeks. The 5D is Canon's new full frame DSLR. It has 13 megapixels and lots of other bells and whistles. It's quite a camera--I love it! It cost way too much money, but I figured I'd splurge and now I won't have to upgrade cameras for a very very long time. Now I just have to work on getting some better lenses. :)

Wow this one makes me want to go to the beach, I really like the low angle you took this from, and the wave action is really nice too...excellent composition Laurie, and as always wonderfully done...I don't know much about that camera??..a new one? Linda

I Like the flow of the water foam. doesn't look like there were that many clouds out that day. I can't wait to see a cloud filled land....sea...or cityscape with the 5D!
