Very effective portrait Mary! I have to agree with Richard's comment concerning the orientation of the image. I think it would be even more powerful cropped in a vertical fashion with those piercing blue eyes being the main focal point. Mary this is definately one of your top 5 photos! In my humble untrained opinion. Thanks for sharing this with us.
