Just returned from a two week business trip that, for the first time, got me around the world in a single trip: Chicago, Tokyo, Seoul, Daejon, Singapore, London, Berlin, London, and back to Chicago. It was a tight schedule during the local work days plus a second work day at night doing email and conference calls with the US. But I got out a little and here is some of what I saw ...
Inevitably, flying around the world makes you spend a lot of time in airplanes. In my case, I traveled a lot at night so that not very many opportunities existed to take photos. My windows were also always pretty scratched up, dirty, or hazy, not a good start for photos. You will have to endure two in-air pictures, though. They are from the wing of the Boeing 777 on my way back from London to Chicago. The window at my seat was a center window to the massive wing of that plane. Here I caught a set of cloud reflections during take-off in London.
Picture details: Aperture: f11, shutter: 1/500s, focal length: 70mm, no flash, no tripod.
the effect gives it thunbnail was of a top of the snowy mountain, instead you open the photography and you find the surprise.. nicely frame and effect.. also the geometric composition is so good! have a nice time roby
Thank you very much for looking and commenting, Mariola. Initially I thought a crop that eliminates the trees would be taking too much away from the wing, but you are right. The picture is much better with the trees out of the way.
Thanks again for commenting and enhancing the picture. What do you think about it now?
