hey Brad, nice image but maybe a little too 'perfect'
I tend to agree with Roger, and perhaps the whole perfect lighting, pin sharp, vivid colour thing adds to the 'unnaturalness'

Brad, I think you're asking the wrong person. I have a strong aversion to retouching, cloning, that kind of thing. If it looks in the least unnatural, it just switches me off. When I don't notice it is it when you've succeeded!

Hey Roger, Been playing some more. maybe the different catchlights more suit the lighting?

I am experimenting trying to get that extreme "pop" that you see in the glossy magazine cosmetics ads. possibly I over did it. I think that the "catch light" actually make for the unnatural look maybe I should make it a little more transparent next time and darken the iris a little

Did you see the B&W version of this shot that I posted about a month ago? I did not retouch the eyes on that one.

Phew, that's a relief! I thought it might be me. I'll keep a lookout in future for your later efforts... She IS gorgeous (I know I don't need to say that, of course.)

Hi Roger, Yes I have been playing with retouching the eyes. I think that I still need more practice to make it more "natural looking"

Brad, I don't know what it is, but I find the eyes strange. They look painted more than photographic. This just doesn't work for me at all--the first time I've felt like that with any of your photographs. Did you do something different this time?

she is gorgeous.

The lighting on this is perfect. I like the close up cropping. Very nice.
