Hi Mary,
It was a bit tricky. Silly me should have thought to use a tripod. I have not had a good chance to test the camera yet, except for trying everything in the house with macro mode. Looking forward to it.

This is a wonderful picture. The details are so crisp. I imagine it must be a bit tricky to get a picture of your own hand close up. What a lovely treasure for you to have from your grandfather.

Thanks, Mark! I love this watch. I'm keeping it in a case as well. Did you notice it was taken with my new camera? I have the S2 IS now, which has macro and super-macro modes.

My grandfather had a similar one, in silver, that my dad had in a case for years while I was growing up. Nice shot. You composed it well and got a perfect exposure. The detail, right down to your fingerprints, is razor sharp. Nicely done, Todd.
