Thanks for your comments Ron - To answer your questions: First you start with an interesting flower picture - up until recently my florals and macros were taken with my old Cybershot 1.3 mg pixel. You can use other shots too and will get some really interesting effects. You will need to download a plug-in from FlamingPear.com called Flexify that works with PS. (You need to go to Ellen Smith's portfolio to see more examples of flexify shots and awesome florals without the plug-in. It is easy to use (free download for 30 days and then only $20 to purchase the program.)and you basically just play by "rolling" the little dice. You get to it through PS by downloading the demo and then selecting the flexify from the drop down PS menu that includes "plug-ins." Most of my florals were shot on auto and the flash when needed was just the one that comes with the camera - don't have another one to go on my hot-shoe...yet. Sorry I didn't answer right away - usefilm was down to me. Jan

Margaret - Ellen shared her secret and gave me the web site where you can get a plug-in for PS. It is addictive as each image you "create" seems more wonderful than the previous one. Trust me -you can spend hours playing. Jan
