HEY! No fair!! I was gonna take a nice one fer ya all on its own, I sent this to DD as a complimentery pic to hers. I'll get you a solid Jimmie Hat Shot later. This was the same day (and same canyon) from the Foot on the Ledge pic. The Guardian of the Hat is guarding this one. Though the detail canna be made out. Did I tell ya thanks yet? Or again? JIL

Wow Dot, you have been busy. I haven't peeked around in your portfolio for a while. Some excellent portrait work. And by the way, you look too good in this shot..
I think might be what Paul Lara was eluding too. Just add new layer, pick the grad. tool, lay down a small grad. over the area then blend the layers. I used multiply as the blend type in this one. Just a quick example...

Nice self-portrait Dottie! If I knew the 'emoticon' for a wolf-whistle, I'd insert it here (did you notice how many views this has? :) I like the way you have an element of mystery here, with the cap concealing part of your face!

A connection... Yep, even the great and all powerful Jimmie must agree... you did better wiff yours than I did wiff mine. Good work, DD. (and I haven't forgotten the favor... I still have the address and the original box... I just have to get off me lazy arse. JIL

SO teach me, teach me! Those gradient layers in PS have me quite puzzled! Have to read up on it I guess. Thanks for the comments.. Dottie

what a splendidly alluring self-portrait, girl!! My only criticism is how you tried to subdue the blown-out hand, but that seldom works (as you discovered). Probably better to just overlay a dark gradient layer.

I so love this, the lighting is brilliant and Dottie - if that's you I am sooooo jealous of your buff figure!!! I am guessing by the comments that Kelly is the Aussie - only an Aussie would call you Dotster, say see ya and sign off with Luv!!!
