About	i just learned how to attached different photos together (thanks, Sergio!) & this is the first piece i've come up with. It is a piece i'm submitting to an upcoming Valentine's Show at our local Artist Run Gallery, here on Hornby Island. The theme of the show is "Heart Strings" & we were asked to try & incorporate some kind of 'fibre art' into our own medium as the show is highlighting fibre artists. Each of these photos are direct scans - i simply put my hands & the string & heart directly on the scanner & pushed "print". This series wasn't pre-planned at all - i just started playing with scanning & coming up with ideas around the theme of love & heart strings, & this are a few of the shots i came up with, that i found, when put together, told a story of sorts. This is all new to me so any comments or critiques are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
