About First of allsorry for my lack of comments recently I am still full of flu. For all my friends out there please bear with me while I get over this horrid flu.

I just liked the dark rocks and the smooth flowing waters. Hopefully back to commenting tomorrow. Back to bed now.

Another super photo Howie, sorry about the flu - managed to escape so far here. But with working 12 hour nightshifts in freezing air conditioning I suspect it is only a matter of time :-(

Best wishes,
Steve

Lovely effect. I have had the Flu too. Nice start to the year eh ? Looks like you are getting on well with the transparencies though. Not really used positive film much myself. Looks like it scans well might give it a try. Have just aquired a Mamiya 67pro so will be playing with this for a bit. Quite a bit different from 35mm/Digital SLR. How many frames do you want to waste by not winding the film on or going to far. Lol.

Wow, you and the slide film seem to have hit it off really well, looks like the two of you will have a long and happy life together! Was it hard getting the exposure right the first couple of times, or did you get it dead on with the first shot? Slide film is so finicky(lack of a better word)when it comes to exposure, but the results are so beautiful when you get it right. Really stunning work here! Hope you get better soon Howie, then you can get back out there and continue to impress us with more of your beautiful images!
Hugs
Corrie

about this shot now, this is stunning. I love all blue coloring here. the rocks look awesome. they have a porcelain feeling to them. and the water is silky and dreamy. love this shot.

Great shot Howie! The motion attracts you to the photo right away. But, as in most of your photos, there is always a nice even balance of lights, darks and mid tones. Very easy on the eyes.

Sorry to hear you are poorly my firend! I was thinking you had been very quiet lately.... I hope you feel better soon.

Beautiful image Howie! I really like the rock in the right foreground and how it seems to be coated in Mercury almost (a fabulous liquid chrome effect of the water flowing over it!).

Get well soon...

Regards,

Alastair
