About seeing the smiles of your children, your grandchildren. It's seeing their eyes light up when you arrive. This is one I saw today. I needed that :) Converted to BW in PSE and resized. I'm not sure why it looks bigger, instead of smaller. Back to the drawing board :)

Small grandchildren are amongst the best things in the world. You did a beautiful job of catching yours in this pose. A handsome young fellow he is!

Not the least bit of impatience at having his picture taken so often! Truly remarkable! Great shot in a tricky lighting situation.

Now here is some optimism. A fine young man with all the hopes and dreams of youth. A fine picture for the beginning of the year, just as your last one was for the end of it.

I can't take great pride in setting up this angle, Rachel..as it was a spur of the moment thing. He was up on a ladder helping his dad take down Christmas lights. I had my camera on the seat beside me..I just took it. I converted this to bw in PS, which I see I failed to mention. The original is lovely, as he has on a yellow shirt..but I have a thing about bw, and was playing around in PS trying to resize the image size, to see if there would be less damage to the image on upload. It came out looking huge! Thanks for your comments, and I hope your New Year is a happy one!

What an adorable little imp & with the cutest little freckle on the tip of his nose. I'm glad you got such a big slice of love today. Can't wait till I have grandchildren, (now there's a phrase I never thought I'd hear myself say!) And thank you even more for sharing that sweet face with us! Dottie

Beautiful portrait Rebecca.
This angle gives his smile a pride.
Very sharp details, as if I'm standing beside him.
I agree with you, happiness is when we see the smile of our children....Thanx God.
Wonderful about dear Rebecca.

Khaled.
