About A late autumn early morning shoot. Down by the river where the fog holds close. I tried scaring nearby birds, so that they would fly into the shot but they were rather uncooperative.
I bumped the saturation up a bit, but thats it; I hope you like it.
comments are always appreciated.

7/7 Matt, beautiful moody photo. The light and tones are excellent. It tells a lot. I could imagine it hanging on my wall.
I also wanna thank you for you kind comment.
Regards
Daniel

This has such a classic feel to it... the low hanging mist, the golden glow on the tracks... it's a really great moment caught on film.
Great lines lead me into the image, and into that great atmosphere.

A great shot, Matt, and a great title. I like the toning, the composition and the symbolism. Reminds me of a composition I once wrote in English class... that railroad tracks are held together by strong ties... they go the distance and share whatever the burden, however heavy it might be... in any kind of weather... Thanks for commenting on my "Covered Bridge". I, too, have tried to catch a snowflake on my tongue and I laughed when I read your comment.

Great colors here - love the warm hues of the sun. Looks so comfortable. The feeling of going anywhere is a welcome one in this shot with a feeling of hope - not dread, maybe even adventure as alluded to in your title.
Thanks for your comment elsewhere.

Great colours and effects, even to someone who is colour blind.
