Hi Del,
All the Spider photos are taken in or around my house. As we live on a little farm there are lots and lots of spiders everywhere. This one came walking indoors on the wall. They eat a lot of bugs and as long as they don't bother me, I let them be. Once a week I vacuum all the walls and ceilings, but the webs are back within a day or two. The webs in the barn I clean maybe once a year, but some of them are there for ages. I don't care. And then there's the big garden, lots of spiders there in Autumn. This one was about 3 cm. (leg to leg) so they're really not that big and we don't have 'dangerous' spiders in The Netherlands. I'm pleased you like my spider series, I like them too.

I have really enjoyed your spider series. Including your explanation of how you knew the sex. Now I am wondering where you are taking all of these photos. You have a great series going. Del.

The tones and the lighting effect you apllied work very well. One feels like hitting upon the beast with a flashlight in the attick.
