About	No, I'm not completely happy with this one but I know some mushroom afficionados will appreciate it. DOF could be better and it was so dark in this woods in the morning, I had to use flash which blew out my highlights

Hi Kurt, sorry not to have commented on your work more frequently... I've been rather burried in work lately. In general, flash would kill such a shot; but I think you handled it very well; it gives the photo a bit of a damp, moist and dark atmosphere, which creates an excellent feel of the perfect environment for such Fungi... Very intriguing!

Weird little alien lifeforms hiding under the leaves. Could be sharper, I suppose, but still, it's a nice composition of an interesting subject.

Could you try using a longer shutter speed to let more light in and maybe a white piece of paper to reflect more light onto the subject. I think it would come up a treat as you have chosen a wonderful subject to concentrate on.

Look for the hidden and you will find a treasure.

I know in an dark wood is it not the best, but Mushroom grow mostly in an dark wood
