About five years in my life I spend in a boarding school, it was an intensive time, great times and hard times, everything was close together...fun and pain...love and sorrow

there is a long story around the school, but finally everything was taken away, only the skeleton is left...

it was a kind of horror trip to visit the buildings yesterday, want to share my emotions with you...

So this is a starting serie and I don't know when it will end...

very moody - sad that a nostalgic trip must be that way but all must live, change, die and decay...K

it strikes me that you try to reproduce a feeling of loneliness and maybe even a bit of sorrow...

Very nice tones, and striking shadows. An excellent job of taking the ordinary and making it look bizarre.

Hi Verena,

LG,
Thilo

Hi Verena!
Great great expression of pain here, I appreciate the tones, the compisition and the spacing of this shot and...hey, cheer up, I'm a teacher I usually have pain when I think of school!:) No joking now:an intensely emotional shot. See you!

Sorry, I see nothing and I feel even less.

Does nothing for me even with the explanation. I find the tones and shadows boring. The framing is uninteresting and the picture is too soft and lacks enough contrast to draw me into it.

Just a snapshot of a floor with a rod and some pipes sticking out of it...

I am sure you will, this is what I do also...
Isn't it strange that all lovely people have suffered somehow?... It comforts me to think thet suffering opens doors to self discovery....a kiss

I was sent off at 10 and came home for Xmas Easter and in the summer off to camp... and now you see the results... from leather straps to bamboo canes that were applied to U No Who's derriere every Friday night!
The capture suggests a renewal... for the sanding and not a whipping has just been completed!

Well seen!

I like the image, it is intellectual in the way I "receive" it, minimal and has great tones!
I would love to see this daring series...I hope your sharing helps to get rid of dark shadows...
the upper wires are like a gun trying to shoot an upright existence....but it cannot kill the shadow!
a kiss!
