About The USS Wisconsin. Nicknamed for the mascot of a university in the state. Old Westpac sailors (assisted by the ladies along the "Honch" in Yokosuka, Japan) added the term maru (vessel). This is the last of the Iowa Class battleships to be built, as well as the last battleship ever built. Despite being termed as warships, they were really peacemakers.

id like to see this with an angle that better shows the length of this beast. i visited her sister-ship New Jersey last year and was amazed. this one seems a litte too busy for my tastes.
