About This shot was actually taken at around 10 PM. It was very dark outside. But the combo of my 8 second shutter speed and the bright lighting created a late afternoon feel over the lake.

THOSE COLORS ARE BEAUTIFUL!
I LOVE IT!
But I also wonder, is there more to the bottom?
I think it would balance it out a little more with a little more water at the bottom.
Anyways, I LOVE IT!

Love lightning shots, this one is great!!!!!!!!
Like the effect you got with that shutter speed
Have you ever heard of the Lightning Trigger? Its a device you mount on your cameras hotshoe and it plugs into the electronic cable release. When activated, it detects the lightning flashes and fires the camera, works pretty good, from the pictures I've seen, though I dont have one myself.
