Linn, Yes,I do click the "reply to Linn Currie" in the messages. I also get them in my email though I don't read them there much. I go to my portfolios.

It seems that the kittens like to play in the litter box often and am wondering if that is where they are picking up this eye situation. Now another one has it . It seems like they get it one day and it goes away only to come back. Am going out today to get this stuff.
Thanks!
Bill

Bill, I am not getting notification of your reply-back comments. Are you hitting "reply to Linn Currie" when you do? I checked back on your image and that's when I saw your second reply.

Even if they are kittens, they still need the L-Lysine. Herpes is a bugger - if left untreated it can cause permanent damage to the eyes.

Do a www search of feline herpes and/or L-Lysine and get the confirmation.

Good luck
Linn

When I saw the thumbnail I though it was some kind of stained glass window with the black curving round. This is lovely composition, great capture

Dear Bill,
This is an excellent shot. You did a great work with colors and composition.
Although you have a great portfolio of flowers this one is a piece of art!
Congrats!

Thanks, Linn for your cat remedy suggestions! Mind you this is for the kittens now since they are the only ones who are symptomatic. Both ideas sound good. Thanks again!!

Thank you for the compliment Bill - I try my best :-) As for getting more comments on this image than on your florals - don't you think this cat image is of much better quality? :-))))

The eyes ... please go get some L-Lysine tablets from either a health shop or your pharmacy (I think you call it a drug store?) Each cat requires 500mg per day which will definitely help with the teary eyes (I think they are dealing with Herpes). Crush the tablets into a fine powder and mix in with their wet food. It is tasteless and they will take to it easily. Vets world-wide are now recommending the L-Lysine.

You could also put some Echinicea in their drinking water - that is, if you have water bowls that are refreshed every day. This remedy must be done for ten 10 days, then a week off, then 10 days, a week off, etc. etc.

Good luck
Linn

Linn, Hope all is well with you. Cocoa finds himself in the strangest places. A very gentle and lovable type. As for the eye health,I do take concern about that and now have a situation with the 4 kittens that are the newest members of the house. Seems like they always have a mild case of teary conjuntivitus which I remedy with some eye drops to eleviate the problem.

Thanks for stopping by. Wow! 8 comments. I have to post more "non flora" pics.

Take care.
Bill
PS, By the way your flower gallery is getting better each time I look at it. Haven't been lurking much with all the warm weather things to do now.

Now this is tasteful Bill :-)

Natural pose, the ironwork gives wonderful detail to the image (as well as a natural frame). Crop and DOF are great.

Overall - an image that I would comment gladly!

Oh - and thank you for seeing to it that the cat's eyes are clean and free of crusties! :-)
