Cool. Very pleasing colors.

Looking at the grill works of the window - Theft seems to be a big problem in Argentina. I am sure these house owners are safe with all those iron works !!!

Gary,

I was fortunate enhough to travel for 8 months during 2003. That trip gave me a lot of great moments and wonderful photo opportunities. I recently strated using Usefilm, but until now, al images in my galery are from that journey. Except 'Booh me up..', but that one was taken 2 days after I had come back home. And I doubt if I would have 'seen' that photo if I hadn't been away for so long. For a couple of weeks I felt like being a traveller in my own country. But that's gone now...

Yes, Jeroen, I intentionally cut into the window in order to mimic the size and shape of the corner of the wall joint at the opposite corner. I was suggesting an interpretative abstractive approach rather than one of representational abstraction. Either way this is cool stuff you just don't find in my neck of the woods, so you are fortunate (either for living or traveling there)!

Gary,

I think it'a an interesting suggestion, although the way you did it cut too much off of the window in my opinion. I will play with the crop tonight to see if it can be improved. Thanks!

Part of the joy of interpretive photograpy such as this is to abstract parts of reality almost until it hurts. In this case, I would suggest a crop that accentuates the meeting of the wall colors in which just a portion of the shuttered window echoes the shape of the lower corner of the building's exterior wall. What do you think?
