great image roger... love the expression adn the wisdom on his face..its different from your usual portraits where they are bang in the centre...the background gives a great context to his bemused look. image lends itself to leading the viewer to think of the underlying story...

You captured a really quizzical look, there. Focus on the rearmost eye--unusual. Takes the sharp edge off the stubble but makes the shoulder of his jersey sharper, which seems just a little odd. But it's the expression that makes this. Your gift for capturing expressions triumphs over minor technical problems. And you're so assured, that more than half the time I'm convinced it's deliberate iconoclasm!

Very good! That face expression of the man is superb, and the out of focus background is really interesting and adds kind of extra story. The man's eyes... They look fantastic... they look so b&w but at same time like if it's a tiny-tiny bit of blue in them. Is it, or should I see an eye doctor?
