and who would that be

a simple case of misdirected animosity

at the peak of the bottom

the optimist

life versus the pixel

fine tuning

how many times before never

she knows

but where'd she go? she was just here a minute ago..

Im trying to figure out what is that i like so much of this shot. The few DOF give it a great effect.

Hey Sandy: Didn't mean to make you feel sad with my series. It started out as a tribute to my best friend who died several years ago. The hand represented the absence of life, her life. but then it just grew into the absence of life in a general way. But I tried to end in a positive way by saying that we all die but we have the responsibility now to live fully. Cheers, rhonda

gritty and great. the colors, the patchy snow, the foreground focus. very good. did you manipulate focus in post as well?

Well Sandy, this shot surely has strong emotional cover. The metalic door cannot left you go ahaid. Sadness is all around! Very good!

A very messy alley and a gloomy atmosphere that gives me sad and hopeless feelings regardless the colourful chairs leaning against the fence. As for the feel, you captured this street alley superbely and you couldn't have chosen a better name for this photo.
Great DOF and focus on the fence.
Great work, Sandy

excellent - nowhere to go - the chairs are leaned against the fence - the party is over and there is nothing left to wait for....

Very original focus, and a very intriguing composition, Sandy! I like the way your focussed on the details and left the rubble behind the fence just some rubble behind a fence. Creative point of view. Very good street shot, my compliments!

Cheers,

Hugo

I guess you don't work for the Detroit Chamber of Commerce!

I like the way you focused on the fence and let the colors in the background blur.
