Perfect photo for this effect, Lori. CS Filter Gallery I am guessing.
I have been experimenting with painterly effects and it is nice to see that this works really well.

Let's go back to the beginning and have a look. This, with it's texture, could be a tapestry. The photograph has been transformed into simple, bright shapes, that could have been woven. It has the look of an imaginary place. But, if it's La Jolla, I still have painful memories of climbing some of those hills just above the ocean on my bicycle. Ouch!

Thanks for the comment! Professionally (for 20 years) I photographed Weddings and Studio work. In the studio I did mostly Boudoir portraits. (only tasteful ones) No sleeze, LOL! Photography has been a life long love! Now I'm back to having fun, and trying to master Photoshop CS! What filter did you use (star pants) did you use for the glow and softening? Yours was GREAT! great PS effects! what kind of photography did you do professionally? in response to your question (Star Pants) - the softness and "glow" was in Photoshop... i don't know if you like IR photos, but I have done a few with the G3.. works great!! should work with the G2 as well....

Hi Kevin, yes, I did all the work in Photoshop CS. I use Photoshop for everything, really like the program, it's addicting. I love the photo you've enclosed! It's great! Now I'll go and see if you have other images to view! Bet you do!  )

I went digital 2 years ago (the best thing I ever done
If this is your opener to the site (keep them coming)
I aualy use the computer to paint in photoshop
This is a pub in my home town (every strock of the digital brush is mine(I didnt press a button and hey presto) but if any one did thats fine just whatever (what do you think?
