Yes the low angle works well, plenty of foreground and the tree can be seen against the sky. A higher angle would have left the tree lost in the background. Interesting that the tree does look lonely when it's sorrounded by others.
This photo had an interesting effect on my eye when I first saw the large version. For whatever reason I keep thinking it looks like a miniature movie set. Maybe it's because there is nothing for me to guage the scale of the trees. I really like that this photo is making me see it like that.
I know that it?s a very usual subject, but I like it every time. This is a good B/W, not much sharp, maybe a scanner image, but the frame and lights are very nice, I like the low angle too and the magic atmosphere of the place. Bye Max
