This is a great shot. I like the color and content of the foreground. The backdrop of the city is very nice as well.

It's a nice location Natalie. The bench, tree, harbour and cityscape work well together. It is a hard shot to hold together with the foreground so much darker than the background (cityscape). An ND grad filter would hold back the brightness of the city and expose it more evenly with the foreground.
Look for more dramatic lighting. Sunrise, sunset, early morning and late afternoon (golden light) are great times to shoot. You'll get better shadow play and colour. I'd love to see this location shot again with different light. Do you use a tripod and a cable release? If not, you should. It will take your photography to another level.
Well done, keep of the good work. You live in a landscaper's paradise!

Beautiful landscape Natalie, I like the gentle glow. The tree helps frame this as well. Nice work :-)
