The place is called the White Desert, western of Egypt, full of thousands of this limestone mashrom rocks, carved by the fast wind carrying the sand moving at a lower altitude, sculpting this huge mashroms all around the place... wish if I had more time to spend there, lighting would have been much better.
this is an attention grabber for certain! I wonder if the 'over polarized' sky is not a good thing and actually balances the black shadow? without the dark sky, the shadow might draw too much attention. I do like the rocks in the distance--gives some kind of comparison. Terrific shot!
Good compossition and I love the angle. The sky is very dark. This is probably due to to much adjustment of the polarize filter. The dark sky distracts from the image.
