Sensual model, posed in nice light. There seems to be some sort of object behind his left arm which protrudes near his hand and disturbs an otherwise simple composition.
This is a very handsome young man in a very relaxed pose. The image makes me feel that there is some kind of anticipation going on. Certainly,in a portrait the photographer needs to have a contact with the model and I think that perhaps you have that here.
I like very much the dimentional lighting on the figure and the face. You have nice catch lights in the eyes too which I feel are important. The one thing that bothers me the most is that white shirt. I think it would have been a stronger image if you would have used a more neutral color or even black or brown. You could have had the model not wear any making the modeling of the light on his face even more outstanding on his torso.
In looking at this with the stark white I get the impression that this could be an advertizement for a tee shirt and I don't think that was your intention at all.
I should say however, that you have done a good job with skin tones, dark background, and the intense white, however I feel the white is a bit burned out.
Beautiful portrait. I really like the exposure... I don't think it's quite dark. The pose and expression of the model are great. Only complaint is the strange bar that appears behind one of his hands... somehow it's a little bit distracting if you discover is there. All in all, congratulations for a beautiful portrait.
