Neat bg colour and great framing of your bird, but the sharpness is lacking, throwing the picture off. IF the print is sharp, it must be something in the scanning ... and if the print isn't really sharp either, make sure to check before firing the shutter. Focusing on the eyes of subjects tends to work the best. Under the toolbar of COMMUNITY, scroll down to ARTICLES and Marcus Ward has a great article about how to get sharp images through scanning.
