About Shot at ZEBROW STUDIO in Los Angeles, California for an eyewear assignment(they were more interestested in an eye catching shot-turned to poster-than any particular glasses.Hench the attempt at "eye catching" using goggles.)Very simple lighting-one softbox(I like to keep it simple) No filters,no photoshop.Tripod mounted.Great model to work with-knew her stuff.

Is there anything like "Pro quality"?
Well, in that case, here it is.
The lighting is in my taste fabulous

Yes Gordon, Agree with you 110%.I only noticed, cause I'm a really super - sharp genius guy, that you have nothing good to say about any of my work.I'm crushed, you've ruined about 3 minutes of my Tuesday morning.Oh, just one moment, room service is at the door.No need to worry now,the pot of coffee - Spanish at that - will pull me out of this very deep depression - Coffee Drank/Emergency Over and everything's back to normal!Keep in touch Mi Amigo, Marcos (Did you know that Barcelona has GREAT coffee?...Si!)

Geat photograph Mark. Thanks for writing me back. Glad to know you hadnt forgotten about me:). .. I hope there is room for my growing style of work...I will be uploading some new shots soon. I also got some great masquarade mask on ebay Im just having a hard time finding a model for one of them. I will be priting them using the van dyke method. I hope you are looking for a more alternative process photographer in your group. Looking forward to hearing from you again.

Michael.

great shot,

lighting is good but needs some light bounced into the top left corner, you lose tonel value in the dark area,

and not to nit pick, and im sure you know already, but the little dust mark on the bottom right corner above the shoulder,

but, after all this , the image is very strong and very impact orented. AWSOME

Mark: I'm sorry to use your photo, to talk to you, but I don't have your email, mine is ousadias@netcabo.pt, if you want, email me! I think I'm gonna have an assistant, almost like yours, after all! My eldest son is coming to live with me, next month, and he is at the third degree of a photography graduating! As to my studio, I don't rent it, I just pay the rent! ;-)
My studio is my living room, without half of the furniture and a Lastolite background. I am a record producer/composer/musician, not a professional photographer. When you come to Portugal, call me, I'll show you some nice spots to shoot!

Mark: I'm sorry for the trouble! Anyway, I envy (I don't know if this is well written!) you! I would love to have an assistant, even if he would do some mistakes! ;-)
I'm an amateur, but, as I insist in carrying in the field, medium and large format cameras and tripods with steroids, I'm always beging to find a way of selling my photos, to be able to hire an assistant (or to buy a mule, like AA!).

Good! but I also agree it would be better if the hand was not there.

P.S.
The tight crop is definitely more effective!

She knew her stuff and so did you. The empty eye make this a real eye catcher. Simple yet powerful, not an easy combination!

Well done, but I think the photo would be more effective without the hand, croping just above the glasses.
