About I took the shot on a clour print scanned and saved it. I then converted the shot into B/W and saved that. I then lowered the saturation of the colour shot, grained and contrasted the B/W shot and combined both photographs. Not sure what the effect is, but its different

as a biker, I like this image reminding of the cold season when we have to refrain from riding... I like the mood of th pic, IMO the grainy effect is too intense, causing a lack of brightness and sharpness that probably were present on the original negative- regards - marco
